How to avoid Hell

Last week on Friday I blogged on a frightening subject “Is the Hell Real?” This week I want to continue with the subject.
If hell is real and we are told by the bible that those who enjoy sins will go there, then it means that hell can be avoided. What we must bear in mind is that hell was not initially designed for human being or man but it was designed for Satan-the devil himself and the fallen angels. If it was designed for Satan and his angels, this clearly shows that it is not a good place to be.
If it was not designed for me and you then it means we can avoid it. The are ways to avoid hell. Some people may ask that how this can be done. The answer is that you can avoid going to hell by shunning the works of the flesh.
One can ask him/herself that what the works of the flesh are. We get the answer from the letter of Apostle Paul to the brethren in Galatia.  In Galatians 5: 19-21Paul wrote, “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: adultery, fornication, uncleanliness, lasciviousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousy, wrath, factions, seditions, heresies, envyings, murderers, drunkenness, revelings, and the like.”
Paul continued to write, “Of which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” If someone is caught in one of the works of the flesh it means he/she is destined for hell. What we know is that there are only two destinations for each and every person after death- its either heaven or hell.
What we must bear in mind is that God is not happy seeing His people He created going to hell. The wish of God is for everyone to inherit His kingdom- that is heaven.
Alas! Christian character is produced by the special gift from God- the Holy Spirit not by our self-effort. The Holy Spirit is the one who guide us and enrich our character. By so doing, we shun the works of the flesh and follow the works or fruits of the Spirit.

Apostle Paul also wrote to the brethren of Galatia informing them on the fruits or works of the Spirits. In Galatians 5: 22-24 Paul wrote, “But the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, faith, meekness and self-control.”

The assurance for everyone under the sun is that it is possible that you dodge hell and find your pleasure in heaven. Shun all the works of the flesh and adhere to the works or fruits of the Spirit. By so doing you are going to enjoy your eternity in heave. Amen!
