What Hell on Earth is This?

One day on a commuter omnibus from town to my residential place at Killarney I was attracted to some scribblings on the left side of that commuter omnibus. The scribblings goes like: "In ancient days girls used to cook like their mother but these days they drink more than their fathers.

Young girls smoking
The above statement triggered my mind and figured out that the person who wrote that statement was telling the truth. If you can just visit any of the night clubs and tubs you can figure out how true this statement is. Young girls are the ones who are heavily populating bars, sports clubs and pubs.

Indeed these days they drink more than their fathers. They are also indulging in drug abuse as well as commercial sex activities. The following pictures and videos authenticate my argument, enjoy viewing pictures and listening to some videos.

Gayism and Lesbienism an abomination to God

God clearly stated that homosexuality is a blasphemy to Him. Starting from Genesis soon after the foundation of earth God cursed homosexuality.

Surprisingly many people through out the world  are practicing gayism and lesbianism. It is a disappointment that the world today is supporting homosexuality to the extent that it is now regarded as a human right. Those who attack homosexuals are penalised for infringing or violating human rights.

The President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, His Excellency Robert Gabriel Mugabe is known for his rhetoric that those who practice homosexuality are worse than dogs and pigs.

Let us hear his direct verbatim lambasting homosexuality on the following video

This direct confrontation of gays and lesbians by president Robert Gabriel Mugabe has raised the eyebrows of various homosexuals movements in many countries both in Africa, Europe and America.

The Prophetic Prayer

Prophetic prayer refers to the prayer in which you speak the will and purpose of God into being by the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Man of God Praying
When a believer worships the Lord in Spirit and in truth in the place of prayer, the Holy Spirit causes His Word to come forth from a brethren with power and authority.  A good example of a prophetic prayer is Jonah’s prayer to God when he was in the belly of the fish.

The bible in Jonah 2:1-4 says, “Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord his God out of the fish’s belly, And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the Lord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.”

When Jonah was in this situation he was good as dead, but in his hour of desperation in the fish’s belly, he refused to give up. Instead, he called upon God, because he wanted to see His Glory again. He wanted to see Jerusalem again, the city of the great King, where the temple of God was.

Jonah understood perfectly what he was doing. He was in a terrifying hopeless situation, but then he prophesied: “I will look again toward thy holy temple.”

This is a classic example of the prophetic prayer. Therefore it is important for a believer to pray this way. In the prophetic prayer, believers put to work the gift of prophesy by which they speak forth the mind of God. By so doing, believers speak the will of God into being by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, and it becomes.

Johan turned the fish’s belly into a temple and had a church right there. He made up his mind not to wallow in self- pity but to give sacrifices of praise to God with the voice of thanksgiving. God was moved by this type of prayer and He spoke to the fish to let Jonah go. It responded and vomited and vomited Jonah on dry ground.

If believers can speak prophetic utterances that will bring about the miracle one require and prod them towards fulfilling God’s purpose for a believer’s life. Amen!!

Praying in Tongues Helps You Bring Forth God-Ideas

People praying in tongues
The issue of speaking in tongues has sparked many debates between the mainline, the Pentecostal churches and some apostolic sects. Most of the mainline churches say that there is nothing like speaking in tongues and it is the thing of the past during the times of Jesus apostles. They are supported by churches like Jehovah’s Witnesses(Watch Tower).

The Pentecostal churches, which are sometimes referred to as charismatic churches, believe much in speaking in tongues. In Acts 2: 4 the bible says, “And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other tongue as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability. Likewise, when people speak in other tongues the Holy Spirit give them the ability to do so. This is what the Pentecostal and some of the apostolic sects believe.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Christ Embassy once said, “There are certain changes you want to see in your life, family, ministry, job, business, finances or academics, but they seem not to be happening. If you would pray in the spirit well enough, you would receive ideas and answers from the Holy Spirit through your spirit. And even when those ideas come to you in other tongues, the same Spirit of God can help you understand and put them to work.” This quotation highlights the importance of speaking in tongues. Speaking in tongues helps a believer to be brilliant in whatever he/she is doing.

When believers find themselves at the crossroads of a major decision, they do not have to go about asking others what to do. They might get themselves confused that way because they might be talking to the wrong people.

Some believers think they would have to wait a long time for an answer as men did in the Old Testament. What they forget is that we live in a new age today. In this new age, the One who speaks lives inside believers. Therefore, as believers pray in other tongues, they will speak forth answers to the issues at hand.
