Church: The Body of Christ

I want to take this time to welcome you all to my new blog. It is my hope that you are going to get the spiritual empowering information. As this our first discussion let me introduce it by looking what a church is.

Many people are confused when it comes to the affairs of churches. Since they are different denominations therefore there different doctrines which are religiously followed in the day to day activities. Some people are arguing that the recent emerging Pentecostal churches are the money making organisations.

The truth remains. The church regardless of denomination is the body of Christ. Many people have their minds polluted by listening to the saying that if you want to get rich quicker you have to start your own church.

What we need to know about churches is that they are not money making businesses. As a result in order for the church to fully and effectively operate there is the need for money. Churches have got their biblical way of raising money for their day to day operations. This comprises of free wills and offerings from the well-wishers within the congregants.

Amazingly, people who spread the gospel that pastors, apostles and prophets are robbing the poor people of their hard earned cash had never stepped their feet to any church but they get such destructive information from the rumourmongers.

People must be mature and sober when it comes to church affairs and care must be taken when we deal with these issues.
